Configuration over Air (CoA) for Mitel SIP-DECT allows you to
Configure phone settings (e.g. language, ring behavior, messaging, etc.)
hide, gray out, lock or PIN protect menus
configure softkeys
With SIP-DECT 6.1 this capability has been enhanced to also deploy customizable phone menus.
Up to two menus (variable lists) with each containing up to 10 entries can be configured in a configuration profile.
In the example below, a Call services menu has been added to enable or disable MiVoice Business call control features.
The menu is accessible when the phone is in idle state via a “more” softkey. Depending on the feature, the phone either prompts for user input or invokes the feature in question.

CoA provisioning file from repository (pbx_menu_coa.zip)—e.g., mivb_menu_en.coa
CoA provisioning files in the repository contain a list features and feature access codes (FACs).
The codes in the provisioning files must match the feature access codes configured in MiVoice Business.
Modify the CoA file or the MiVoice Business feature access codes to match each other if required.
NOTE: The files are provided with the default MiVoice Business FACs already in them.
Edit the configuration files with a text editor such as Notepad. Editing requirements and notes are included in the files themselves.
For more information on CoA, see the Mitel SIP-DECT OM System Manual available on Mitel Document Center website.
A repository with sample provisioning files is included in the pbx_menu_coa.zip file.
Download the repository file using the following link:

Connect to the OMM using OMP and create a new CoA Profile.
OMP > Configuration > System features > CoA Profiles
If this CoA profile is to apply to all 602 DECT Phones in this system, enable the “Default” checkbox.
If this profile should only apply to specific users, define a Profile Name. Use Import file to upload the required coa file.
If the profile was not set as “Default” users must be assigned to use this profile. Go to OMP > Configuration > DECT Phones > Users.
Select the user(s) you want to apply this profile to and click on configure.
Switch to the configuration data tab and select the profile you want to apply.
To provide the menu in different languages create multiple CoA profiles and manually assign the CoA profile with the correct language to the user.
Confirm that all required feature access codes are
configured in the Feature
Access Codes form.
